It is understood and appreciated the financial commitment and sacrifice families undertake in deciding to send their children to a Catholic school. And although paying for education is first and foremost the responsibility of a family, each school, parish and the Archdiocese of Baltimore devote significant funds each year to financial aid programs that help assist families. In turn, our school communities benefit by attracting students that otherwise would not be able to attend our schools.
FACTS is the tuition management and grant and aid platform used by the schools in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. All families are asked to create an account with FACTS to manage their tuition payments. The grant and aid application is housed on the same platform for every school, parish, and the Archdiocese of Baltimore assistance. Therefore, a family need apply only once for possible support from these various sources. Read more information about FACTS. Do you know a family enrolled in public school whom you believe should give Catholic School a try? We want to meet them! Currently enrolled Our Lady of Victory Catholic School families who are in tuition good-standing are eligible to receive a tuition credit of $500 per new family! The referral bonus will be credited back to your tuition plan on FACTS, after the newly referred family has completed one trimester and is in good standing. Our tuition credit program through referral bonuses has no limit to the number of families you may recruit & refer. Remember, public school applicants are also eligible for tuition credit, through our Welcome Grant program! To be eligible, your name must be listed as the referring family on the online application.
Open to new applicants transferring from public school and entering any grades between Kindergarten and Seventh is the new student Welcome Grant! This program is for new students who are applying to Our Lady of Victory Catholic School from a public school. Accepted students who complete registration will receive an immediate discount off tuition, rather than a credit, which makes the transition to private school much easier on our new families. Currently, the Welcome Grants discount in year one is $1,000, $500 in year two, and $250 in year three per family. The deadline to qualify for the Welcome Grant is June 30, 2019. First Responders' Discount
Open to all families who are employed, full-time, by Maryland EMS, Police or Fire Departments is the First Responders' Discount! This program is for any Our Lady of Victory Family new or current. Discount recipients are either the mother or father of student and he/she must provide proof of employment. Families will receive a 10% discount off of their Tuition and is renewable each year. BOOST is a State Maryland Program, enacted in 2016, to ensure lower-income students could afford the K-12 education best fit for their needs. BOOST provides scholarships to eligible students to enable them to attend a nonpublic school.
Now entering its third year, Maryland’s BOOST Scholarship Program has provided nearly $12 million in scholarships to eligible K-12 students toward tuition at a qualifying nonpublic school of their choice.
Who’s eligible for a BOOST Scholarship?
BOOST scholarship are available to public school students and current nonpublic school students whose family incomes is:
1. $30,044 or less for a family of 2
2. $37,777 or less for a family of 3
3. $45,510 or less for a family of 4
4. $53,243 or less for a family of 5
You must apply for BOOST through the State of Maryland. The Maryland State Department of Education is NOT yet accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year.
1. To apply for a BOOST scholarship, you must first apply for your child to attend Our Lady of Victory Catholic School. If your child is already enrolled at a qualifying school, please be sure to re-register for next school year.
2. Once you have applied to the school of their choice, please visit the Maryland State Department of Education BOOST Scholarship page to apply.
