Letter from School Leadership

Welcome to Our Lady of Victory Catholic School!

Our motto says it all ~ OLV is the Place to Be! Our day begins with all students and staff gathering in the gym for a prayer service, announcements, pledge, code of conduct, and TABATA! I lead the entire school with a four minute session of a high-intensity interval training that is fun and geared to fit anyone’s fitness level. We change our routine daily – you may find us doing the Cha Cha, Charleston, squats, jumping jacks, balances etc. We work hard for twenty seconds, rest for ten seconds and complete eight rounds. This is a great way to start the day and it prepares us to focus in class.

Our mission is “to provide the highest quality Catholic education with an emphasis on faith formation, academic excellence, and service to others based on Gospel values.”

We are in our third year of an engineering program like no other in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. We have coordinated with the Star Academy in order to offer three disciplines of technology curricula to students in grades 1-8. Each trimester offers a different discipline for students on a rotating basis: Robotics, CAD Design and 3D Printing, and Drone Operations. We are preparing our students for the future with our newest engineering program, as well as our rigorous day to day curriculum. Our teachers are loving, supportive, and will do whatever it takes for each student to reach his/her highest level of achievement.

As principal, I invite you to explore our website, stop in, talk to current parents and students and never hesitate to contact me. I am proud of all of the many accomplishments we have experienced and I am always open to suggestions ~ I value your input!

May God Bless Us All,
Lois Gorman
